How to Host a Webinar Using Google Hangouts?

Webinar services are becoming truly popular in the arena of social media networking. Webinars proved to be effective catalysts for brand building and promotional activities. Out of the various platforms available for broadcasting a webinar, Google live stream accounts to be the most popular and cost effective option. Anyone can begin a webinar through Google streaming services by using the Google+ Hangout On-Air feature. On Hangouts – select the Hangout On-Air tab and click on the blue button icon to set up your Google live stream.

A pop-up window will appear on the screen. Herein, you can add the specific details of your webinar such as – the title, description, time of broadcast, etc. After filling all the details, click on the Share Button. Then after, in order to make your webinar more creative and perceptive, you may customize it.

Choosing a theme for the webinar, uploading still and a video trailer of the webinar, etc. will make the webinar much more intriguing and attractive for the audience.  You can also choose to activate either the Q&A or the Showcase applications. The Q&A application will allow you to provide a space to your audience so that they can register their queries to seek an answer from you during the live stream. Whereas, the Showcase application allows you to showcase links, articles, products, websites, landing pages, etc. that are relevant to your webinar.

Once you have drafted the webinar, you can and invite your audience. In order to invite attendees to your webinar, you can follow one of the three ways. The first one is to send manual invitations.  For this, you can click on the Invite More Button – located at the bottom right corner of the page- successively. Or else, you can share the link to your webinar directly with the prospective attendees. The third way is to embed the hangout video to a social media post or the website. Now, Go Live by clicking on the Start Button.
